1920 & Flapper
Fabulous vintage dresses and gowns from the early days of the 20th century ... for your décor, collection or display! Dresses in this area date to between 1920 and 1930 and include the "new" shorter skirts and dropped waistlines as women left behind the constraints of the fashions of the past. Here, you will find wonderful silk Flapper dresses, some plain and some extravagantly beaded.
These dresses, while not true antiques, tend to be very fragile and should be handled with great care and respect - especially those with heavy glass beading. While many may be strong enough to be worn, in general, we do not recommend doing so.
They make superb additions to your home's romantic decoration when displayed out of direct sunlight. |
