This fun, lightweight veil hat (whimsy, or chapel veil) is just adorable!
 
This one has a nice green net and is decorated with a red velvet bow and wired chenille red cherries and green leaves.  The bow is attached to the netting to keep it properly arranged.  The net is shorter in the back, probably to accommodate a late 1950s or early 1960s  hairstyle.
 
It is in very good condition.  It could use a little careful steaming.  The only breakage in the netting that I found was where a cherry had been attached and it has pulled away.  One of the cherries has a little loss of chenille, but since it is on a wire, it can be turned away from view.
