This sweet and adorable vintage little girl’s white dress and net veil would make a wonderful flower girl’s dress, or of course, a perfect vintage confirmation or first communion dress – it’s original use.  I believe it dates to the 1950s, possibly earlier.

This darling little dress is made of a sheer white synthetic material with machine embroidery.  It is fully lined with attached white synthetic fabric.   There is a cute Peter Pan collar and short puff sleeves.  The fluffy white skirt has a double ruffle hem and is gathered to the waistline and has an elastic back.  There are belt loops, but no belt.   The dress fastens at the center back with 4 plastic buttons.

The net veil is attached to a clear headband.  A lace ruffle decorates the headband and has ribbon bows at each side.  The veil is trimmed with a tiny picot edging.

The condition of the dress and veil are excellent and wearable.  I would consider the veil to be somewhat fragile, given its age, but I find no issues with it.  The dress is clean, strong, and wearable.
