This vintage cocktail dress is … well, it’s just fabulous!  Deep, dark navy blue nylon lace covers a synthetic lavender fabric, looks like taffeta.  Just a beautiful color combination!  It likely dates to the late 1950s or early 1960s. 

The bust has nice detail, I had trouble getting it to show well in the pictures due to the sheen of the lavender fabric and the flash.  The boat neck collar will show off your jewelry perfectly!   Metal zipper closure at the center back.  It appears to be hand made.

In excellent, just about as close to mint condition as I would be willing to claim in vintage clothing!  I’ll bet this dress was worn only once, if at all. 

I would call this about a size Medium.  It was a bit large on my dress form with 34” bust, 24” waist, and 35” hips.  Make sure you read our FAQ section to understand how we take our measurements.
