An amazing find, this is a never worn pair of vintage Sarah Coventry earrings called “Fashion Flower” still on the original card and in the original box.

What seems to be even more amazing is that the card is marked ©1961 Sarah Coventry, Inc., 7834, and SarahSheen, which was a coating used to prevent tarnish on the earlier pieces of jewelry.  My research to date has only turned this set up as having been ONLY available as a hostess gift in 1971.  Sarah Coventry also made another set with the name of  “Fashion Flower” that is a pin and earrings set in the shape of a poinsettia.

There is no evidence whatsoever that these earrings have ever been removed from the card (or any other earrings ever having been on the card) and the box is a perfect fit for the card containing earrings of this large size.

Each earring measures about 1 ¾” in diameter and features a large red aurora borealis coated rhinestone at the center of a brightly shining gold tone filigree flower.  The flower petals are also decorated with smaller red ab stones.  Comfort pads were included on the earring clips.

In near mint condition, with absolutely no wear.  The box is slightly crushed and the cellophane window has a tear.  Earring clips are in fine working order.
