The entire frame is made of a lightweight plastic, probably celluloid.  The front of the frame is green and shimmers with a marbleized effect.  On the back there is a little fold-out stand.

The entire frame measures 2 ¼” high and 1 ¾” wide.  The photo opening is 1 5/8” high and 1 1/8” wide at the widest (bottom).
