I’ve seen many vintage glove holding clips over the years, but never one like this!  Most glove clips have a clasp on a chain that allows it to fasten around a purse strap, but the chain on this one has no ability to open. 

The gold tone metal chain has a slide mechanism, and that leads me to believe that this is something that would be worn on the wrist, which would be quite handy if one were dancing the night away!  The clip piece is decorated with a tiny hand.

So … glove clip or handkerchief clip, whichever you decide, you’ll have a most unique and wonderful vintage clip!
