In a much coveted, hard to find, plus size, this is an absolutely adorable 1950’s summer dress with a super butterfly print.  Best of all, it’s never been worn – still with the original tag.  (NOS – new old stock/deadstock)

Green, pink, and yellow butterflies are lined up in vertical rows on a black ground, creating a real eye-catching look.  The dress has a V-neck and closes at center front with 11 black plastic buttons with clear and sparkling rhinestone centers.  Capped short sleeves have turned up split cuffs that mirror the butterfly wing theme.  There is a wonderful full skirt and a self-fabric belt.

Label reads:  Faithful Frocks  True in Every Detail.  There is also a vintage size tag – remember, vintage sizes are much smaller than modern sizes so do NOT use this as a guide to size.

There is no content label, but it is probably a poly-cotton blend since the hang tag calls it “A New Wash ‘n Hang Fabric  -- Sheds Wrinkles  Resists Soil”
