What a treat! This is a very special vintage 60s Elizabeth Arden lace cocktail dress by Shannon Rodgers for Jerry Silverman. This short sleeve cocktail dress features taupe lace over taupe fabric. The neckline and sleeve cuffs have scalloped edges ending in machine made tape lace. Additionally, there is a lace overskirt. There are thread belt loops (one has come loose) but no belt remains. Closure is at center back with a nylon zipper and two snaps with an interesting placement. The dress is fully lined and is superbly tailored, as would be expected. The dress has the Elizabeth Arden New York label at the back of the neck and on the inside of the lining is the Shannon Rodgers for Jerry Silverman label along with the size and union labels. In very good condition. The exterior of the dress is excellent. Unfortunately, the lining all around the upper bust/neck area is discolored. This is not seen when worn. The dress has been dry cleaned and is ready to wear.
