Nearly perfect, this antique barrow coat is the perfect petticoat for use under a sheer christening gown.  Also known as a pinning blanket.

Made of pure white cambric, this baby petticoat appears to be handmade and features a wide 3 ½” band at the top, 3 sets of pin tucks, and crochet edging.  The pintucks are arranged on the lower third of the dress (from top to bottom) as 3 tucks, 4 tucks, and 6 tucks.  There are no fasteners as it was meant to be pinned in place.
