Brilliant light blue aurora borealis chatons set in polished silver tone metal loops, like petals, in a cluster form a brilliant atomic design.  This vintage pin, dating to the 1950s,  is almost blinding with the multitude of gleaming rhinestones!  (The aurora borealis coating on rhinestones used in vintage costume jewelry was not in use until after the mid-50s.)
