Casual and sporty, this antique hat undoubtedly once belonged to a young lady who enjoyed a less formal fashion! 

Condition is Very Good.  The velvet nap is worn in several places and the metallic threads of the ribbon have age appropriate darkening.  The ribbon is pinned but it is not terribly noticeable.  I don’t know if it’s a later addition, but it looks like it belongs there.  In one photo, you can see that I placed a large silk millinery rose over the pinned area and it really dresses it up (rose may be available separately).  The black lining has a couple of splits and it looks like the wire on the edge of the brim must have come loose and has been sewn with decorative stitches for stability.

Inner circumference measures about 24”.

Not only is this a wonderful, wearable vintage Edwardian era hat, it makes an incredible addition to your romantic cottage décor!
