This antique folding fan undoubtedly comes to us from a time when Victorian mourning customs forbid the use of “color” in clothing and accessories.

Made of black linen-look paper and ebonized wood sticks in all black.  The outer sticks have an impressed floral pattern.

Measures 16” wide and 8 ½" high.
