Larger sizes in vintage clothing are so hard to find and here is a nice one!

This vintage dress is made of a very sheer, see-through synthetic fabric in a pale pink color.  Little heart shapes are embroidered thoughout in matching thread.  It definitely needs to be worn with a full slip.  The bodice features a wide “boatneck” collar and little, slightly puffy cap sleeves.  The skirt is quite full, though not a circle.  There is a matching pink enameled metal side zipper and thread belt loops, though there is NO belt included.  No labels.

Condition:  Good/Fair

There are numerous splits in the fabric, particularly on the left front of the bodice and just below the waistline at the left front.  There is an extremely well done period repair at the center front bust that I’ve never noticed until now, even after having displayed the dress here at the shop!  Due to the overall coverage of the fabric with the embroidery, I believe it seems to hide the splitting and repairs.    Price reflects flaws.

This is still a really great vintage dress in a hard-to-find larger size.  We’ve shown it in some photos being worn with a pink belt and a crinoline that is NOT included.  Any other accessories shown may be available separately.
