Vintage Abstract Deco Design

This exceptionally fine vintage Dresden mesh purse boasts a richly colored abstract design in bright pink, yellow and green. The wonderful bright gold tone metal frame in a super Art Deco style is marked “Made in Germany” and features a snake chain. The fringe is a delightful stepped design – very Deco! The mesh has a lush, silky feel and is in just superb condition.

The frame measures 3 7/8” wide is just about 7” long from the top of the frame, above the clasp to the bottom of the fringe. Marked “Made in Germany”.

 In excellent to near mint condition. There are no holes, though there is one tiny link missing in the body of the purse. It is barely seen and I looked at this with a jeweler’s loupe to make certain that there was no breakage. It may have been made this way as there is no residual damage nearby.
