A wonderful variation of the “little black dress”, this is a luscious black velvet cocktail party dress that is fairly contemporary, probably from the late 1980s.  It’s perfect for a more formal occasion!

Fully lined, it features a low cut sweetheart neckline with poufy short sleeves, a fabulous balloon hem, and 6 large satin teal bows.  The sleeves and balloon hem have nylon tulle crinolines sandwiched between the outer fabric and the lining so they hold their wonderful shape.  The back closes with a nylon zipper.
