Vintage 1960s 2-Pc Linen and Wool Sleeveless Dress with Matching Jacket Medium

This marvelous vintage 1960s 2-piece linen and wool blend ladies suit consists of a sleeveless dress and a matching boxy jacket.

The bodice of the dress is made from beautiful bright pink linen and the skirt is a heavyweight, colorful woven wool of pink, green, and white. Bodice features a V-neck and the lined skirt has side seam pockets. The jacket matches the skirt fabric and is fully lined. Dress closure is at center back with a nylon zipper and hook and thread eye. There are thread belt loops, but no belt.

This dress was handmade by the original owner’s personal seamstress and is of exceptional quality. (No label)

In very good condition with some very light stains on the skirt and light soiling around the neckline of the dress. The lining of the jacket has light staining in the underarm area of the lining – the lining could be removed if so desired. Dry cleaning is recommended and I think most issues would be resolved. The price of the dress reflects a reduction to allow for dry cleaning.
